Cimarrón Golf Resort is an upscale 36-hole golf facility located in the famous desert community of Palm Springs. Cimarrón features two championship layouts (The Long Course and The Short Course) highlighted by creative contours, brilliant white steep-faced bunkers and impeccable playing conditions.

Cimarrón is a private resort, although both courses will be available to the public on a daily basis. The golf operations share a unique relationship with a high-profile vacation ownership development consisting of 242 villas adjacent to the golf courses. Owners of the villas will receive membership-type rights at Cimarrón during the time of their stay and will also have privileges along the OB Sports Trail, a collection of high-end golf properties either owned or managed by OB Sports.

Best described as "Contemporary European," Cimarrón presents a distinctive combination of Old World elements with contemporary style and function. European edges on the clubhouse, sod-wall bunkers on the golf courses and an extensive use of native plants for project landscaping set the foundation for elegance and class. The true showpiece at Cimarrón is two world-class golf courses. Although The Short Course may appear easier on the scorecard, it will equally test the skills, patience and shotmaking skills of the player. On both courses, golf course architect John Fought has fashioned a masterful variety of bunkers with flat tongues and jagged edges, while incorporating sod into the walls of others. All of the bunkers at Cimarrón are filled with brilliant white sand, creating a spectacular contrast to the immaculate green fairways, light-brown native wash areas, multi-colored displays of landscaping and the San Jacinto Mountains.
